Questions
Is Yearly free?
Yes. Yearly is free on iPhone and Android, with no ads.
Why does Yearly need my contacts?
To find which of your friends are already on Yearly. Only the phone numbers are checked (never names or anything else), numbers that don't match someone on Yearly aren't kept, and we never message your contacts.
Who can see my birthday?
Only people who have your number saved and are on Yearly. You can hide your birthday any time in Profile, and friends stop seeing it straight away.
What if my friends aren't on Yearly yet?
Invite them from the Contacts tab. They add their birthday when they join, and it shows up for you automatically.
Do I need WhatsApp?
WhatsApp is how we send your sign-in code, and the quickest way to send a wish. You can also send wishes and chat right inside Yearly.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile and tap Delete account at the bottom. Your profile, messages and photos are removed for good.
